Machine Tech is not only a job shop. Our in-house design and drafting takes a project from concept, sketch or sample to a production-ready drawing.
Design and drafting close the gap between an idea and a manufacturable part. We develop drawings, plan the manufacturing approach and prepare the job for the floor.
Because the people drafting the part also machine it, the design accounts for how it will actually be made.
This is also the front end of our reverse-engineering work — modeling a component from an existing sample.
