What is the difference between CNC and manual machining?
- CNC machining uses a programmed toolpath, which makes it the right choice for repeatable production and complex geometry. Manual machining relies on a skilled machinist at the controls and is often faster and more practical for a single part, a repair or a modification. Machine Tech Services has both under one roof, so we match the process to the part rather than forcing every job down one path.
Can Machine Tech Services machine parts from my drawing?
- Yes. Send your drawing, model or specification and we will quote and manufacture to it. We accept PDF, STEP, STP, DXF, DWG and IGES files. If you do not have a drawing, we can also work from an existing sample.
How much does machining a custom part cost?
- Cost is built from material, setup time, run time on each machine, any outside processing, tooling and inspection.
