The Problem
An electric submersible pump has to get its power cable through the wellhead. Traditionally that means cutting and splicing the cable, which introduces a failure point in exactly the place you do not want one.
How It Works
- 01
A side door in the hanger body provides access so the cable can be routed through rather than severed.
- 02
The pass-through is sealed, so pressure integrity is maintained with the cable in place.
- 03
The same approach supports lines and conduits, not only ESP power cable.
Why It Matters
- Hangs ESPs without cutting or splicing wires
- Supports other artificial-lift configurations
- Removes a common failure point from the completion
