Machine builders are rarely short of design capability and frequently short of somebody who will make eleven of something to a tolerance, then forty more when the design settles. That is this shop: prototype quantities without a prototype-quantity attitude, and the same people machining the production run.
Iteration is the normal condition here rather than an exception. A revision three weeks after the first article is expected, and a shop that treats every change as a new job is the wrong partner for it.
We do not build robots. We are the company robot builders call when they need the metal parts, made properly, from somebody who will pick up the phone about a tolerance rather than machine to the print and let the assembly fail.
