A housing is really a set of relationships: bore to bore, bore to face, face to mounting pattern. Hold each feature individually and still miss those relationships, and the assembly binds.
We machine housings from solid stock, plate or castings, using milling and boring capacity to hold bore alignment and squareness across the part.

Can you re-machine a worn housing bore?
- Often, yes. Depending on the wear we can bore the housing oversize and fit a sleeve, or remachine the bore back to a serviceable condition. Send photos or bring the housing in and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth repairing or replacing.
