Equipment outlives its supplier constantly. The manufacturer is out of business, the part is discontinued, or the quoted lead time is six months — and the machine is down now.
This is one of the most valuable things a job shop does. We measure the old part, model it, plan the manufacturing and machine a replacement. You end up with a documented part you can order again instead of a one-time rescue.
A broken or worn sample is usually enough. We work from the remaining geometry, the mating components and your description of how it failed.

- Yes. This is routine work at Machine Tech Services. Bring us the old part — broken is fine — and we will measure it, model it and machine a replacement. You get a documented, production-ready component you can reorder rather than a one-time fix.
What if the part is broken into pieces?
- We can usually still work from it. Between the remaining geometry, the mating components and how the part was installed, we can reconstruct the design. Bring everything you have, including the pieces.
